University of Hertfordshire proud of the Jungle Book Oscar Winning Graduate

The University of Hertfordshire is feeling proud of its former students who were honoured at Oscar’s for their innovative and outstanding work on Disney’s The Jungle Book as part of the leading visual effect team.
The former students Josh Shorland, Josh Parks, Chris Turner and Gianluigi Bevilacqua have created The Jungle Book’s stunning OG environments and brought out the iconic characters to the life thus winning the Oscar for Visual Effects. In addition to winning this world-acclaimed award, the MPC team has also won the BAFTA and Critic Choice Awards.
The University of Hertfordshire has been ranked 1st for the Best Next-Gen Gaming schools, 2nd for the Best Photography schools, 3rd for the Best Film making schools, 4th for the Best Illustration schools, 4th for the best Motion Graphic schools and 4th for the Best VFX & Animation Schools in the ranking of Best Creative Schools in the World 2016. Over 1,800 students have submitted their portfolios from 500 international schools in 77 countries for the Rookies 2016. The ranking gives the accurate idea of how well schools prepare their graduates for the challenge of industry.
