Lancaster University has been declared University of the Year

Lancaster is thrilled to be named as University of the Year 2018. It is a moment of proud for Lancaster to be risen to its highest ever ranking in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide league table this year.
It was also awarded Best Campus University and Best University in the North West while holding its highest ever Institutional ranking of 6th place within the Guide's National Table.
Lancaster University is one of only six collegiate universities in the UK city of Lancaster and a member of the N8 Research Partnership. Recognised as outstanding in research, teaching and the student experience, it proudly holds several high Rankings on notable platforms.
Being one of only nine Universities to be ranked in the top 10 across all National League Tables of UK Universities, Lancaster remains a prestigious triple top ten university in the UK in latest rankings by The Times & The Sunday Times Good University Guide, The Guardian University Guide and The Complete University Guide.
Earlier this year the University was also awarded Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework. Many degrees at Lancaster rank quite high on the list such as Accounts (3rd), Business Studies (4th), Biological Studies (5th), Math (9th) and Chemistry (9th).
Lancaster is consistently voted one of the best-value universities for students and its student halls often win awards too. Its modern interpretation of a collegiate structure, flexible degree programmes and academics committed to teaching as well as research has placed Lancaster with an outstanding score of 91% in the National Student Survey 2017 for Student Satisfaction.
