University of York has introduced New Mathematics Post Graduate Course
University of York is delighted to introduce a new and exciting postgraduate taught programme at its Mathematics department.
York is an excellent place to study Mathematics at Post Graduate level. You will be taught and supervised by expertise producing internationally excellent research. Welcoming students from all over the world, it provides a fantastic atmosphere and support to its students.
Recently announced MSc in Mathematics Sciences is quite promising and inspiring program that will develop mathematical knowledge of Applicants through a range of research-based Modules concentrated on one of the Research Specialism in Algebra, Number Theory, Geometry and Analysis, Mathematical Physics and Mathematical Biology.
York is a community of Mathematicians from all over the world which is committed to excellence in teaching emphasising on small group teaching. This newly introduced program will be able to provide a bridge to world-class research through one of its Research Specialism.

Entry Requirements
Applicants should have an equivalent to a 2:1 undergraduate degree or a 2:2 undergraduate degree supported by relevant professional qualifications
English Language requirements
IELTS: 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component
TOEFL: 79 overall with a minimum of 17 in Listening, 18 in Reading, 20 in Speaking, 17 in Writing
